Not for the life of me can I understand why people jonesing for another Postal Service album have taken up with schlock like Owl City (which, hate to break it to you, is just Christian arena-rock in an Urban Outfitters jacket). It’s especially baffling when you consider the continued existence of underrated and warmly organic laptop-pop duos like Electric President, who would seem to hit all the same buttons while being, you know, good.
