Not gonna lie, I was planning on posting something new from Russian Circles or Toro y Moi. Then I remembered that nobody’s new stuff is as good as Magnetic Fields’ old stuff. Props to not-so-contrarian mmyydddd for helping to jog my memory. (I also share the bewilderment at Sasha-Frere Jones: remember when he said [gross exaggeration alert] Arcade Fire’s songs weren’t black enough?)
